Minor Penatonic Scales also include five notes, and have a depressing tone just like the minor scale. It is usually the first of the pentatonic scales learned, because it is one of the most commonly used scales in music.

Red= Held note
Blue= Start of new octave
1-4 = fret
The scale should be read left to right, and bottom to top
This is the basic outline of the scale. The fingering can be transposed up the neck on any set of frets. |
